I paid double that when I got mine, but mine is also mint. No joke, I think the backlight is the same one they use in digital watches, and at least on mine, the contrast is terrible so it can be a little hard to read despite the backlight.Īll in all though, I think you got a great deal. It's still useful, but I also find that outboard chorus is useful for it too.Įnjoy the screen on it! It's like editing patches on one of their watches. However, it really doesn't have any of the modulation/underwater sound that I typically associate with a chorus. It's chorus in the true sense, in that you end up with different signals on each side of the stereo image, so the sound gets "wide". The synth really shines when you focus on the envelopes.they are pretty powerful and unique and really are the heart of the synth if you ask me. Still, it's definitely playable.Īlso, yes, stock patches on it are terrible. I also have a dx7, and I would say the keybed on the cz is comparable to it but not quite the same. ![]()
